Join us for a one-time, 2 hour SAMPLER class – you get 1 hour on the pottery wheel and 1 hour of clay hand building. This class is great for all levels. No experience is needed. If you already have experience, come refresh your memory and get back into the spin of it all.
Price is $75 and includes EVERYTHING for wheel and hand building - instruction, demonstration, clay, use of all tools and glazes (when you return to paint your creations). Return in 2-3 weeks to glaze your creations.
Additional Information:
• Limited to ages 13 & up. See our kids’ class offerings for ages 8 & up.
• Class size is limited due to space, we do not allow sit ins for classes. You must be registered to stay for a class.
• Clay can be messy – while it will wash out of clothing, don’t wear your best outfit.
• Bring an apron and/or hand towel – as these are not provided at the studio (you will take these back home after class)
• Long hair should be tied/pulled back.
• FYI long nails can make it hard to work with clay on the wheel – you have been warned.
• Jewelry (rings, watches, bracelets) should be removed before class to prevent unwanted indentions and scrapes in the clay (it’s up to you to secure/guard these items)
Seats are limited therefore NO-shows and cancellations made within 24 hours of the event will be forfeited. Please note: Some pieces will not make it through the firings. This happens in pottery and especially with beginners. Patch’s Playhouse is not liable for any broken or lost pieces.
